The Last Post of the Year 2009

Hello all, I have been struggling a lot whether to write about a new year eve post for the past week as I had actually wrote a post on Farewell 2009, Welcome 2010 earlier back. Yes, I had finally make up my mind I shall make a post on the last post for 2009. I bet most of us have been constantly hearing people speaking, blogging or discussing about New Year Resolutions. Anyone reading this post got all your resolutions listed out ready before the clock ticks 12am tonight? Congratulations to you if you have made it.

While I was driving just now, I listened to the DJ was talking about "Do you make resolutions for 2010 a not?" So, there's a 12 years old girl called in and asked why do people need to make resolutions on a new year but why not everyday? She is the kind of person that make resolutions daily instead of yearly she think is not appropriate. I partly agree with her; nevertheless, I still think a new year resolutions for 2010 is essential as a guideline for the coming new year. Or should I explain this in another more formal way: In organization point of view, resolutions for a year is like a Vision, more of like long-term; while Daily Resolutions are more like Tactical Planning which explains short term. What I would probably say is why not we combining both and the power of synergy eventually emerged from there.

Funny human beings know the importance of making resolutions while at the same time I see people "screw" making resolutions to welcome a brand new year. It doesn't mean they make bad resolutions or whatsoever. No resolutions are bad as long as you realized it & no resolutions are perfect if you designed it out and leave it on the desk for dust-keeping purposes. The reason why I said they screw the process of making their resolutions is that they don't bother to making resolutions for themselves. They probably anticipating they will not achieve the resolutions or might not even near it; so they screw making new year resolutions. Some might think they are cool but I personally think they screw their life as much as they screw at making new year resolutions. (No offense to friends or bloggers who don't give a damn at making new year resolutions)

It is said that one is more likely to achieve one's goals by envisioning and literally writing them down. This is the main formula for achieving the resolutions, I supposed.

Year 2009 has been a fruitful year for me although it started not so well in the beginning of the year. Things eventually got better after all it has been a learning decade for me and the journey of learning shall continue. Along the way, I wouldn't say I achieved super-duper successful achievement. But, I am seriously contented with what I have achieved for the year 2009. It's been like a daily arm forces training for me, having too many goals to be achieved at first but deviated by different kind of temptations in life too soon before you realized. I climbed, and I tripped, then I keep climbing and keep tripping day by day till I learned Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results by Albert Einstein. Soon, I realized the determination to prove myself is my ultimate motivation for me. Everyone has got a different motivation to your life, be it anything. As long as you stick to it and it will leads you to the right path.

I'm thankful to God for His mighty power in blessing me throughout the year. Of course, followed by my family members that be with me in all shitty moments & gone through it with me. Then, my dear Alvy Sim, another important person in my life that being together with me to share my laughter, tears, joy, disappointment, and pride. I also would like to thank to my university mates that providing me continuous supports. I appreciate it and would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart. People come and go in life, very seldom we see people stay. I'm going to do my very best in helping each and everyone around me with all I can. After all, life is not merely about demanding from others but we should be more concern about giving out to others. I have bunch of friends and mates that been really helpful and supportive and a special thanks to them.

Together we welcome the year 2010 with the heart of achieving greater and better goals in life. For those who have achieved the goals, keep going & think big to reach the better & higher ultimate goals. For those haven't achieved your goals, don't be discouraged and you should learned from the past & identify what are the things that you didn't do which make you go out of the track. Never give up is what you need to geared up in your attitude right now. Whatever it is, we don't stop at where we are. You will not go anywhere if you stand still at one place. Isn't it? For those who don't plan for their life, they should start planning.

I wish all of you luck, no matter you are my family, friends, bloggers, or maybe silent readers. Let's celebrate the new year with joy & happiness. Be safe & God Bless.

Signing out.

Hainan Holiday Spot

Greetings to everyone. Since is the December month and all we heard around us is about friends going on vacation or holiday to here and there, I'm gonna make a post on this too. Why people usually choose to go holiday on December; particularly is due tot the fact that they have worked hard for the previous 11 months and maybe it's time for some relaxing moments to calm their hectic lifestyle. However, as we all know December is consider as peak season for holiday which mean people need to pay more for holiday include their transportation, accommodation and other expenses. For those who are budget constraints, do you guys crave for vacation by the seaside or enjoy scenery? Of course, who doesn't want to have their vacation on places like Hawaii (not a typical so-called rich man can afford to go this place), Japan for crazy shopping spree or France and etc etc. Coming to the point, everyone want a holiday with a moderate budget and get to enjoy by the beach and looking at scenery. I'm going to introduce to you guys a place of interest today. :)

And this place is Sanya, which is a city located in the Hainan Province, the smallest province in China. Well, forget about this place if you are one of those crazy shoppers that usually will shop till drop. This is a place where a family can go together for a relaxing holiday. Yes, I emphasized the word relaxing rather those hectic type of holiday which is rushing here and there with all the shopping bags in hands.

Cut the craps; and we shall have a look at pictures:

Christmas Prayers

Dear God,
I pray that I will spend
Christmas with a renewed
joy for what You have done.
May I be reminded of the
meaning and message of
Christmas. Thank You for
giving me the privilege to
be called Your child. It is
because of Your love that
I am reminded of my
truest identity.

I ask that
my family, my baby & family, my friends & I
will also receive and respond to
the dept of your love.
May joy, forgiveness and peace be
the hallmark of our home.
Touch us again with the tenderness
of Your undying love. Let us respond with
grateful hearts, and may we
allow this love You placed in
us touch the lives of others.

In Jesus' Name,
Amen.

Farewell 2009, Welcome 2010

6th December 2009 marks the 49th week of the year 2009; that means the year 2009 has finally comes to the end in another 3 more weeks and we will welcome the year 2010.

2010 is the first decade of the year 2000. It was like yesterday when we heard about Y2K; but without us knowing, we have actually live through 9 years after the year 2000. I bet there are a lot of changes in all of us; no matter in physically, mentally, or spiritually. However, looking back at ourselves and let's have a minute of silence think deeply how's your past 9 years have been? How's your past 49th weeks you have been for the year 2009? As time goes by, we learnt from our mistakes. We see what we have not seen before, we gone through what we have never experienced before. Thanks to God that we are all safe now despite of all the world disasters happened around us that bring enormous amount of deaths and property losses.

Are you aware that how blissful are you living in the community you are in now?

Personally, I have gone through a lot in the past 9 years. Life is really like a boomerang. I had been though ups and downs, the joy of new life being brought to this world, the sorrow of deaths, the enjoyment of being successful, and the disappointment of handling failures repeatedly. I’m glad that I gone through everything and makes me who I am today. I survived through all the really hard times & overcome all the obstacles. I truly understand that there are more to come when the age grows older but what is crucial here is actually the growth in you is it sufficient to make you go further in life and become stronger.

Personal growth is something we heard very often that makes us become too familiarize with it until we had forgotten he real meaning behind it. Or should I say we are all aware of the importance personal growth but have you tried to do something to improve ourselves. Mostly, people are always being foolish as all of us know that we have to develop ourselves to make us better. However, we are not doing anything to ensure there is improvement in us. As we have to know that the world is moving forward, people around us is marching forward too in a fast pace. If you are staying at the same point and keep complaining you have not achieved anything in life, one word can use to describe you; and that would be ridiculously stupid. No one is going to stay and wait for you to come along, if you want to achieve something in life, be somebody in life; then go ahead and figure out some way to improve better despite in which area you are interested in.
As I have mentioned earlier, the year 2010 is awaiting us in another 3 more weeks which equal to 21 days or 504 hours or 30,240 minutes or 1,814,400 seconds more left to a brand new year. Are you going to stay put at the same place at where you are now? Or are you going to make the year 2010 a turning point for you to attain success? Please sit down and contemplate about this matter as it definitely helpful in your life.

Unfortunately, I have not come out my own personal plan for the brand new year but it will definitely be done within this 3 weeks. Last but not least, I wish each and everyone here reading this best of luck in the remaining 3 weeks left for the year 2009. After all, it’s December! It’s the month of shopping spree, party time, Christmas celebration, New Year countdown and etc. Do enjoy & have a blast! Of course, of all the joy you have, never neglect about your family members and your love ones. Put them in part of your priority. Well, that’s for now and I shall come back soon to update my blog. Adios! Take care, people.
